Kissinger Associates Managing Director, L. Paul Bremer, starts the Osama story on 9/11

In the early hours right after the 9/11 attacks, Paul Bremer appeared on NBC suggesting that Osama bin Laden was responsible. He was one of the first to float the name.

What Bremer failed to mention is that as he appeared on television calmly speculating about who was responsible, 1,700 of the employees the company he worked for were "missing" as a result of the attack on the South Tower of the World Trade Center.

It later turned out that over 200 were killed, one of the biggest losses of any organization that day.

Two years later, Bush put Bremer in charge of rebuilding Iraq.

There he decided against the advice of all military and diplomatic experts to disband Iraq's army and put 400,000 armed and trained and then-cooperative soldiers in the street without any means of support and a major grudge against the US.

Bremer...on TV right after 9/11 starting the Osama did it myth and then in Iraq guaranteeing a massive and deadly insurgency.

What was Bremer doing before 9/11?

Among other things, he was the Managing Director of Kissinger Associates.

You know, Henry Kissinger. The former Harvard Professor turned adviser to the Rockefeller family who became Nixon's foreign affairs adviser during the Vietnam War which Nixon extended for eight years beyond LBJs term.

Still think the "botched" occupation of Iraq was a mistake or a surprise?

Like Vietnam, the Iraq War is intended to bleed America dry
financially and isolate it diplomatically - and the very same cast of characters have their fingerprints all over it and profiting from it.

But try to find this very basic background information in the news media, mainstream or alternative.

Are you aware that our Constitution is generally regarded as a dead letter except when it serves the politicos? Or are you confident that all that is needed is to point out where some errant naïve pol has simply gone astray and then, who in gratitude, will embrace you for setting him/her back upon the right path?

So, how's that coming?

Thanks to profmarcus posting Alex Jones' video, I have become more inclined to believe in secret societies and hidden hands that pull the strings and call the shots. My instincts tell me that big money, to the tune of billions of dollars, is controlling the media and our courts and the political process.

I remember watching congressional hearings when L. Paul Bremer was supposed to testify about the job he was doing in Iraq. I saw him make the excuse that he didn't have time to testify and he had a job to do, so his was just going to have to be going and get right back. It sounded just like the rogue DEA agent, Stansfield, (played deftly by Gary Oldman), in the movie Léon (1994), who bellows, "I haven't got time for this Mickey Mouse bullshit."

Wikipedia states: "Blackwater attained its first high-profile contract when it received a $21 million no-bid contract for guarding the head of the Coalition Provisional Authority, L. Paul Bremer."

DoD accounting failures could also hide untold billions. Outrageous tax breaks for the Rich imply an enormous quid pro quo. The betrayal of the public by allowing predator media conglomerates to devour smaller outlets smells of grease. Presidential libraries are huge cash cows. Sub Prime rackets abound and there is corporate welfare awash, galore.

The initial investment by hidden hands, in priming such systems to behave in such ways, didn't necessary have to cost huge sums. But they must have dumped a bundle at the start, in order to grab control of the schools, for instance, and of the kids, so that they could entirely marginalize them. Along with their new morals crusade, (I can tell you that the child nude model sites have all but disappeared). This long child porn and abstinence hysteria, simply points to that secret society's machinations yet at work. Those moves have robbed kids of their humanity. That particular political inculcation as well, as told in the video that follows, seems entirely consistent with such plans.

Any lingering doubts about Iraq's sovereignty have now been put to rest

iraq is, plainly and simply, merely a pawn of the united states government...

The security company Blackwater USA was approved Friday to resume escorting American officials in Baghdad, just days after the fatal shooting of 11 Iraqis galvanized the Iraqi government over the company's conduct and the immunity its employees enjoy from Iraqi law.

The decision by the U.S. Embassy came despite Prime Minister Nouri Maliki's insistence that the State Department sack the company and his government's demand that Blackwater and other such security firms be stripped of the immunity granted them in 2004 by L. Paul Bremer III, the administrator of the former U.S.-led Coalition Provisional Authority.

can you imagine something like this happening in the united states and having the government of another country announcing that they were going to go ahead and continue what they were doing on our soil despite our government's demands...? i didn't think so...

The U.S. in Iraq: "Corroded, inefficient, incompetent, and corrupt"

it's even worse than we thought...

"The corroded and corrupt state of Saddam was replaced by the corroded, inefficient, incompetent and corrupt state of the new order," Ali A. Allawi concludes in "The Occupation of Iraq," newly published by Yale University Press.

First came the "monumental ignorance" of those in Washington pushing for war in 2002 without "the faintest idea" of Iraq's realities. "More perceptive people knew instinctively that the invasion of Iraq would open up the great fissures in Iraqi society," he writes.

What followed was the "rank amateurism and swaggering arrogance" of the occupation, under L. Paul Bremer's Coalition Provisional Authority (CPA), which took big steps with little consultation with Iraqis, steps Allawi and many others see as blunders:

- The Americans disbanded Iraq's army, which Allawi said could have helped quell a rising insurgency in 2003. Instead, hundreds of thousands of demobilized, angry men became a recruiting pool for the resistance.

- Purging tens of thousands of members of toppled President Saddam Hussein's Baath party - from government, school faculties and elsewhere - left Iraq short on experienced hands at a crucial time.

- An order consolidating decentralized bank accounts at the Finance Ministry bogged down operations of Iraq's many state-owned enterprises.

- The CPA's focus on private enterprise allowed the "commercial gangs" of Saddam's day to monopolize business.

- Its free-trade policy allowed looted Iraqi capital equipment to be spirited away across borders.

- The CPA perpetuated Saddam's fuel subsidies, selling gasoline at giveaway prices and draining the budget.

< sigh > no surprise, of course, just all the more horrific when your suspicions are given such black and white substance...
