Sunset, 7:48 p.m., May 1, high desert, Nevada

ok, it's been a while since i've bored you with sunset pics...

i was sitting here, behind my laptop (where else?), when i looked out the window and saw some amazing cloud formations bathed in vivid sunset colors in progress.. as you know, with sights like that, you have to grab the moment, so i did, and raced outside with my camera...

the wind has been blowing all afternoon here in the high desert and, for a while there, looked like it was blowing in a storm... darks clouds rushed by and were still darkening the eastern sky when the setting sun caught them from below... the pic is looking roughly north-northeast with the sun below the horizon about 45 degrees to the left... nice, huh...?
