ya know what... had i worked day and night, i couldn't have come up with anything one-tenth as ridiculous for bush to say than "time to put politics behind us..." this from the man who, under the patient tutelage of satan's earthly representative, karl rove, has made POLITICS the be-all and end-all of everything...

President George W. Bush Tuesday vetoed a bill setting an Iraq withdrawal timeline, defying his Democratic foes exactly four years after he declared major combat over in the war-torn country.

i'm surprised he did the veto thing on the 4-year anniversary of declaring "mission accomplished..." it makes him look even more of a fool that he already does...
