nightsweat at kos: Dean foxy, not crazy

i've been feeling this way in my gut but haven't put quite the words to it the way nightsweat has... these are just the highlights... go to kos and read the rest for yourselves...
1. [Dean] knocks the Republicans off message by forcing them to react to his attacks.
2. He uses hyperbole to divorce Republican voters from the Republican Party. [e.g., "Hey, wait a minute! I WORK for a living!"]
3. [He] gives red meat to the base.
4. [His] remarks give the Dems in right leaning areas someone to contrast themselves with.
5. [His] remarks get Dems in the press without the words filibuster, opposed, obstructionist, or any other Corporate Media favorites.
6. [He] takes the heat off the leadership and lets Pelosi and Reid et al get some work done without being attacked constantly.

[...] I guarantee you Dean knows what he's doing. Let Howard be Howard. He's pulling in record donations for the Dems and he's getting the word out while building a 50 state party again.
