Bolivia: "A country on the brink of civil war"
i've been following developments in bolivia... things aren't looking any better and, in fact, may be getting considerably worse... my biggest concern is the outbreak of violence and what the ramifications of that could be... given bolivia's 90% indigenous population and the fact that the cia has grouped latin american indigenous unrest under the category of "war on terror," there could be some unpleasant developments...
i've said it before... the masses will only stand for being exploited by the elites and the foreign corporations for so long before they get really pissed, and when they get really pissed, look out...

"The country can not continue playing with the possibility of splitting into a thousand pieces. ... The only solution for Bolivia is an immediate electoral process," Mesa said.
"This is coming from a president who is on his way out. ... It is a call to a country on the brink of civil war."
