Rocket hits across from Intercontinental Hotel in Aqaba, Jordan

when i was working on a project there, i stayed at the intercontinental and frequently walked right past the spot in the photo...

AQABA, Jordan — A rocket slammed into this Jordanian Red Sea resort on Monday morning, killing a Jordanian taxi driver and injuring five people, Jordanian officials said.

Because a nearby Israeli resort [Eilat] reported rocket fire around the same time, suspicions focused on the theory that a rocket aimed at it had gone astray.

aqabites and jordanians in general are wonderful people... this is not good...
