On the road

i'm sitting here at iah, george bush international airport in houston... i despise the place and that's not just because of the name... it's noisy, crowded, and, like so many other friggin' airports in these days of laptops and wireless, is ridiculously stingy with power outlets... that used to be much more of a problem for me until i got my current laptop a year and a half ago which, to my amazement, runs for well over five hours on battery power, and that's with half a dozen or more sites up concurrently and three of four different programs open... i know the intel centrino processor is considerably more frugal in its power needs than the pentium chip but i think the battery itself is also a lot better...

anywayz...

i got in here about an hour ago and have another five hours to sit on my ass before the flight leaves for buenos aires... aaaargh...
