IOKIYAD*

[CNN June 4, 2007]
What does Clinton pray for? What does New York Sen. Hillary Clinton pray for? At a faith and politics forum Tuesday night, she said it depends on the time of day. “Sometimes I say ‘Oh, Lord, why can’t you help me lose weight?’” Clinton said. “Sometimes, you know, it’s obviously praying for discernment, for wisdom, for strength, for courage. Praying for my family and my friends.”Clinton said she was “raised to pray” and described herself as “a praying person.”– CNN Associate Producer Lauren Kornreich

If all holy Hillary prays for anything it should be that the tax man will not cometh to her doorstep.

What part of
separation of church and state do these politicians not understand? It's in the Bible - so there is no excuse for ignoring it. Silly Christians, did they somehow forget that God hates things like hypocrisy? I'm not sure accidentally on purpose is a good defense in the eyes of the lord.

EARTH TO POLITICIANS: Not everyone in America is religious.

With all the books that are out there you would think they would have figured that out by now. Sheesh. Like I always say: freedom of religion also includes freedom from religion. It's too bad that part of it gets lost in all the rhetoric.
