the guardian offers an excerpt from gore's new book, the assault on reason...
not having read the book, i can only comment on the excerpt, which i find disappointing in that the above is the only hint i can find of gore's admission that the u.s. is in a bona fide constitutional crisis... bush is not "interpreting" his powers, he has DEFINED them in ways that are blatantly unconstitutional and i am sorry to see al gore skirting that fundamental point...
