Cruisin' the Blogs on a water-logged Monday in Buenos Aires
"Cruisin' the Blogs" is my new, daily blog review radio show airing on WBAT (Buenos Aires Today), an internet radio station in Buenos Aires, Argentina... You can listen Monday through Friday, 11-12 in the morning, Argentina time (9-10 a.m., U.S. eastern time and 2 p.m. UTC)... The program repeats at 10-11 p.m., Argentina time... WBAT is the first english language radio station in Argentina...
It's been raining - hard - all weekend here in Buenos Aires but, hey...! It's given me some quality computer time to pull together a really strong lineup for tomorrow's show.

- How much is too much and the question of hope - Glenn Greenwald blogging on Crooks and Liars and georgia10 posting on Daily Kos offer some perspectives on the events of last week.
- Noam Chomsky, one of the few - too few - serious thinkers of the day and someone who has my greatest respect, talks about Iraq, the war on terror, the Bush administration and China on Alternet.
- We visited with Peter Daou last week, blogging on The Huffington Post, who commented on the increasing loneliness and isolation of the progressive netroots bloggers. Robert Parry of Consortium News looks at that issue in light of the Alito hearings.
- Former Vice President Al Gore will be delivering a major speech on Monday and it may be the most important of his career. John Nichols, blogging on The Nation, has the details.
