Octupied

be sure to tune in to tomorrow's rose parade...

Fat cats and greedy pigs make great symbols of corporate greed, but multi-armed octopi speak to the ways in which corporations operate. On 11/20/2011 at noon a 15 foot tall x 70 foot long octopus puppet manned by 40 puppeteers "Octupied" the steps of Los Angeles City Hall and visiblized the tentacular stranglehold of corporations on politics and government.
