We the people should never forget that day. Why?

By putting some brakes on George W. Bush's careening war policies, the Nov. 7 elections marked a political victory for citizen-run Internet sites and non-traditional media programs like "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart." Though vastly out-spent by right-wing and mainstream media outlets, these upstarts undercut the Bush administration's propaganda and helped millions of Americans figure out what was going on in Iraq and elsewhere.
