Argentina back in the loan market

well, THAT didn't take long...
Just two days after announcing the advance repayment of its 9.8-billion-dollar debt with the International Monetary Fund before year end, Argentina yesterday said it was discussing with the World Bank a three-billion-dollar loan that would finance mainly infrastructure works.

"Now the (World) Bank is considering together with the Argentine government the possibility of a three-billion-dollar three-year loan package of which 80 percent would go on road and sanitary works," Argentina’s representative to the World Bank Alieto Guadagni told radio América.
