Northwest's union-busting under bankruptcy, the new business strategy

no doubt about it... bankruptcy is the new business strategy... us airways broke the ground... it's taken united since my birthday, 2002, to bludgeon its employees into submission... now that they've been successful AND managed to shove their pension liability off to the pension benefit guarantee corporation, they've paved the way for northwest, delta and, most recently, delphi, to follow suit... you're gonna see little time wasted in dumping those annoying union contracts, unnecessary pension programs, and trouble-making frontline employees...

Companies in bankruptcy can use court protection as leverage to extract savings from their labor forces that otherwise might be unattainable. anything in the article about executive and management wage concessions...? funny you should ask... no...
