Saddam connected to Al Qaeda? - What planet am I on?

just arrived at jfk and was watching carol costello on cnn's daybreak... she was grilling rep. robin hayes (r-nc) - and i mean grilling - and had this exchange...

CC: Was Saddam connected to Al Qaeda?

RH: Yes.

CC: But there's no evidence for that.

RH: You're mistaken, ma'am.

great god almighty... ! i take an overnight flight and suddenly find myself on another planet... this is gonna be an interesting day and it's not even 7 a.m...!
